The permanent exhibit of Darkness into Life: Alabama Holocaust Survivors Through Photography and Art is housed at the Alabama Holocaust Education Center (AHEC). Featuring 20 Alabama Holocaust survivors from 8 different countries, the exhibit offers 78 photographs and paintings accompanied by narratives and maps that provide a personal glimpse into the events of the Holocaust.
AHEC staff is currently working from our new location on Highland Avenue, with teacher and community programs being hosted on-site.
