Join Ann Arnold in a powerful inspirational talk as she shares her extraordinary journey as a second-generation Holocaust survivor. Drawing strength from her family’s harrowing past, Ann Arnold embarked on a mission to ensure that the lessons of history are never forgotten. In this talk, Ann recounts the emotional and impactful stories passed down through generations, revealing the resilience and courage that inspired her to make a difference. Fueled by a deep sense of responsibility as well as a life-changing trip in Poland, she transformed her experiences into action by founding the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation with her sister.

About the Speaker

Ann Arnold is the author of Together: A Journey for Survival, a biography that explores her father and grandmother’s story of survival in the Polish countryside. Ann’s book was awarded the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s Heroes for Tolerance Award in 2016. Following the book’s success, Ann and her sister, Isabella Fiske, created the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation in honor of their father. Since 2019, Ann has shared his story of survival with adults and students all across the United States. 

With Ann and Isabella at the helm, the Mark Schonwetter Holocaust Education Foundation (MSHE) has offered grants to schools nationwide to support field trips, classroom resources, programming, and in-person connections with Holocaust survivors. Ann is a prolific public speaker and is debuting a lesson plan to accompany her book Together, now taught in many schools

In her professional life, Ann is also the CFO of H. Arnold Wood Turning, Inc., a premier supplier of wood products, and the Chief Strategy Officer of BIG (Buyers Intelligence Group), which provides industry solutions to jewelry retailers and manufacturers. She is a 27-year jewelry industry veteran and founder of the Arnold Advisory Group.
