Scott Neuberger develops teacher toolkits and lesson plans that help Alabama educators integrate Holocaust education into the state’s updated social studies standards. His work focuses on creating classroom materials that make complex history accessible and meaningful for students. Scott first became interested in history as a child, listening to his grandfather tell stories about his experiences in World War II. Those early conversations shaped how he thinks about teaching the past with honesty and empathy. He holds an M.S.Ed. in Secondary Social Science Education from Samford University, an M.P.A. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a B.A. in History from the University of Alabama.
