Topic: Hitler’s Rise to Power: Understanding Nazi Ideology and the Role of Propaganda
Description: How did Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party transform from a fringe political movement into a totalitarian regime? Teachers will examine the political, economic, and social conditions that enabled Hitler’s rise to power, while exploring the core beliefs of Nazi ideology and the central role propaganda played in advancing the regime’s political and racial objectives.

Topic: Establishment of Ghettos and examples of cultural resistance within them
Description: Teachers will learn about Jews in the Terezin concentration camp who engaged in extraordinary acts of artistic and cultural resistance to sustain hope during the Holocaust. These lesser-known acts of resistance can inspire students to think about creativity as a form of defiance against oppression.
