The Alabama Holocaust Education Center brings moving and insightful events to every corner of our community. From film screenings, to theater productions, to Q&As with world-class historians, we bring the lessons of the Holocaust to you. We also set the stage for future learning, bringing our stories of the past to your classroom, office, or team with our traveling programs.

Events

From our annual fundraiser L’Chaim to our Yom HaShoah name reading, the AHEC honors the legacy of the Holocaust throughout the year. We bring the best and the brightest to our workshops, webinars, and community events.

Outreach

Partnering With Schools

Throughout the year, we partner with schools across Alabama to enrich and strengthen Holocaust curricula. But we don’t only work with educators.  Whether you’re a classroom teacher, a corporate office, or a community group, you can reserve our traveling exhibit and request a speaker. Bring the history of the Holocaust to you. Whether it’s listening to the words of a Survivor or gazing at an illustration of their life, we know that our resources make Holocaust education personal.
