Not just Birmingham’s.

Why Alabama?
After World War II, over 170 Holocaust Survivors made their home in Alabama. From Birmingham to Tuscaloosa, Holocaust history is Alabama history. Survivors and their children are our neighbors, family members, coworkers, and community members. We believe in uplifting their stories while promoting a general understanding of the Holocaust to preserve their testimonies and lives.
