Featuring custom artwork, family photographs, and personal testimony, our traveling exhibits carry timeless stories of struggle and survival to organizations across the state. We bring the lessons and legacies of the Holocaust to you. Our exhibits serve many goals:

Our traveling exhibits can be reserved for free by any school, museum, or cultural institution in the state of Alabama. Note that fees may apply if travel or shipping costs apply.


What is the Exhibit?
The traveling version of our premier exhibit, Darkness into Life: Alabama Holocaust Survivors Through Photography and Art, showcases the stories of 20 different Alabama Holocaust Survivors. Featuring all of the material from our onsite Permanent Exhibit, this exhibit blends timeless stories of persecution, liberation, and survival with educational content.

How to Borrow
- Request the ExhibitWe ask that all borrowing institutions complete the Exhibit Request Form in either the print or online version. This will begin the borrowing process and allow a date to be temporarily secured.
- Submit Facility Report Requests will not undergo final consideration until a completed Facility Report has been submitted and approved.
- Contract SignedOnce the borrower has been approved and the exhibit dates established, a contract will be emailed to the borrower. Only a signed contract will hold the requested exhibit dates.
