Expert Resources for Teaching the Holocaust
Alabama’s educators play a crucial role in helping students explore the history and lessons of the Holocaust with care, courage, and purpose. Through their guidance, students learn to think critically, develop empathy, and understand the impact of prejudice and indifference.
At the Alabama Holocaust Education Center, we understand how difficult it can be to teach this complex, painful, yet deeply meaningful subject which is why we’re here to support educators with expert resources, immersive workshops, and a connected community committed to meaningful Holocaust education.
Educators are encouraged to register for exclusive access to the Alabama Holocaust Education Center’s Educator Toolkit—a vital resource designed to support Holocaust education with depth, accuracy, and confidence.
This comprehensive platform offers ready-to-use classroom materials, immersive workshops, downloadable classroom ready presentations, a searchable curriculum database, and the most trusted Holocaust research tools available.
Registration is required to access the full library of content. Once registered, educators can create and manage personalized profiles, receive ongoing updates, and become part of a statewide network of dedicated professionals committed to bringing meaningful Holocaust education to Alabama classrooms.
