Request a Speaker

Through the Alabama Holocaust Education Center Speakers Bureau, we can ensure the voices of the Holocaust are not only remembered, but heard, honored, and shared with future generations.

Witness History

The Alabama Holocaust Education Center’s Speakers Bureau connects schools, organizations, faith groups, and civic institutions with powerful voices committed to sharing the lessons of the Holocaust. Our speakers include Holocaust Survivors and descendants who offer moving, thought-provoking presentations tailored to your audiences.

Through personal testimony, historical insight, and compelling storytelling, our speakers foster understanding, empathy, and action helping participants reflect on the Holocaust’s enduring relevance in today’s world.

Topics May Include:

  • Personal stories of Holocaust Survivors and their families
  • Historical overviews and thematic studies of the Holocaust
  • Antisemitism, prejudice, and the dangers of indifference
  • Human rights, civic responsibility, and moral courage

Whether you’re hosting a school assembly, professional training, community program, book group, faith-based dialogue, or a community gathering, AHEC will work with you to match the right speaker to your needs and audience.

After submitting your Speaker Request Form, a member of our team will typically reach out within 1-5 business days. Yes, all speakers offer virtual presentations via Zoom upon request.

Hearing a Holocaust Survivor’s testimony or that of a descendant is most impactful when students are given proper context. This experience should supplement classroom instruction, not replace it.

We recommend that students receive background knowledge on the Holocaust, especially as it relates to the speaker’s personal story.

Our Education team is available to help you prepare your students and select age-appropriate materials. Visit our Classroom Resources page or contact us at info@ahecinfo.org for personalized guidance.

Additionally, many AHEC speakers incorporate multimedia presentations. Please indicate your access to a projector, screen, microphone, and internet connection—or any limitations—in your request form.

Once connected with your speaker, they will share any specific technical requirements.
