The Alabama Holocaust Education Center invites you to bear witness not only to unimaginable loss, but to resilience, courage, and the relentless brilliance of the human spirit as we walk the paths of memory through Berlin, Warsaw, and Krakow.

Join us on a profound and unforgettable journey through the heart of European Holocaust history and memory. From the vibrant cultural revival of Berlin to the solemn stillness of Auschwitz, this expertly curated experience offers a deeply moving and inspiring exploration of past and present.

Trip Terms & Conditions: Berlin to Poland

October 9 – 19, 2026

1. Deposit & Payment Schedule

  • A 40% nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your place on
    the trip.
  • The remaining balance is due no later than June 1, 2026.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made before May 1, 2026 will receive a refund of all payments made,
    excluding the 10% deposit.
  • Cancellations after this date are nonrefundable unless a replacement participant is found.

3. Travel Insurance

  • Comprehensive travel insurance (including trip cancellation, medical, and emergency
    evacuation coverage) is strongly recommended.

4. Inclusions

  • Lodging, ground transportation, selected meals, admission to scheduled activities, and
    guide services are included.
  • Airfare to and from Europe is not included.

5. Health & Safety

  • All participants must be able to walk and stand for extended periods. Please notify us in
    advance of any mobility, medical concerns or special accommodations needed.

6. Itinerary

  • The itinerary is subject to change due to local conditions, weather, or other unforeseen
    events.

7. Documentation

  • A valid passport is required. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months
    beyond your return date (i.e., through April 20, 2027).
  • Any required visas are the responsibility of the traveler.
