Description

Experience a full day with Alexandra Zapruder as she unlocks the nuances of these adolescent diaries and how to use them in the classroom.  There will be interactive close readings, hands-on lessons and group discussions, and an overview of support materials available.  Teachers will receive a hard copy of the Second Edition of Salvaged Pages as well as the accompanying documentary, I’m Still Here, based on the diaries.

 

Credit

Six (6) hours of CEU credit upon completion.

  • Registration REQUIRED
  • Open to Alabama teachers in grades 6-12
  • FREE to all teachers ($25 registration fee will be refunded upon attendance)
  • Substitute reimbursement paid up to $80/day
  • Light breakfast and lunch will be served
