FREE Lecture for UAB Students featuring Dr. Steven P. Field, Physician & Ethicist

Dr. Field is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, and member of the Affiliate Faculty in the Division of Medical Ethics, at NYU School of Medicine. He serves as Clinical Ethics Consultant at NYU Langone Health and VNS Hospice of New York.

Dr. Field serves on the board of the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous and lectures at their Summer Institute for Teachers.  His area of interest is the history of science and medicine in 20th century Germany, specifically in relation to eugenics and the origins of the Holocaust, and its ethical implications for today.
