An adult education series based on the book How Was It Possible?: A Holocaust Reader
This is our second year studying this text.
This year we will explore different readings within the same chapters.
Please make note of the reading assignments.
Light refreshments will be served starting at 5:00 pm.
Chapter 5: “Jews in the Nazi Grip”
Readings: “Indirect Rule” pp. 336-348; “Isolation and Impoverishment” pp. 349-357; “Choiceless Choices” pp. 358-370 (this is a repeat assignment from last year)
Facilitator: Dr. Jonathan Wiesen, University of Alabama at Birmingham
Class Size: Limited to 35; drop-ins welcome; preference will be given to full-series subscribers
