Human Rights New Works Festival

Location: Red Mountain Theatre Company, 301 19th Street North, Birmingham, ALThis Red Mountain Theatre Company (RMTC) festival will occur over 4 days, March 15-18, with panel discussions, dramatic readings of new works, lectures from prominent advocates, and even a workshop-version of a curated piece.
Amidst the backdrop of today’s hate-filled rhetoric and Birmingham’s fractured past, RMTC is working to spark world-changing conversations – one individual at a time. For through great art, we explore issues and emotions too difficult for mere words. This exploration opens us to consider the life of another – our fellow man.
